Open Letter to US Big Tech: Stop Enabling China’s Surveillance State
The Associated Press recently published a major story on Silicon Valley’s role in China’s mass surveillance. Dell, Thermo Fisher and Nvidia have all supplied China’s government with the technology it needs to spy on its own people—including ethnic minorities like Tibetans and Uyghurs.
As Americans and people of conscience, we cannot let this stand. In fact, many companies terminated their contracts with the Chinese government in response to a similar outcry over repression of Uyghurs several years ago. Sign our open letter to big tech leaders calling on them to stop doing business with China’s government and cease their support of the oppression of Tibetans and all those impacted by China’s surveillance state!
